The Canberra Raiders have named their squad for their first match of the season against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks at GIO Stadium on Friday night.
James Schiller and Adam Elliott will make their club debuts for the Raiders in the first match of the season, with Schiller’s debut also doubling as his NRL debut.
Brad Schneider will start the season at halfback for the club after Jamal Fogarty was ruled out last week for an extended period with a knee injury.
Captain Elliott Whitehead has been named at lock, with Hudson Young and Corey Harawira-Naera named in the back row.
Nick Cotric has been named on the wing to make his NRL return for the Green Machine.
Sebastian Kris is unavailable for selection list as he is on the club's COVID isolation list.
