The Raiders Harold Matthews team will take on the Central Coast Roosters in round six, with their game kicking off at 2:00pm.

The Raiders will be looking to pick up their first win since round one of the season against the winless Roosters.

Raiders Harold Mathews coach Peter Marrapodi has been very impressed by his forwards in the opening games.

“Our middle forwards sort of came into the competition without a big reputation but they've done a great job,” Marrapodi said.

“Guys like Elvis Nauer-Wood, he's been travelling in from Griffith and he has been doing a great job.”

"Mathais Tomuli-Ah-Kuoi returns for us this week, he came over from Perth and got an opportunity. So those guys have been great for us," Marrapodi said.

Marrapodi also praised the side's attitude and the way they have integrated with one another.

“Their attitude has been fantastic, we've got a lot of country boys and coast kids mixed in with the Canberra boys and the way they've come together has been fantastic," Marrapodi said.

“It's all built up on hard work, the hard work they've put in for each other, it's been really good to be part of the group.”

The Raiders Tarsha Gale Cup side will take on the Wests Tigers at Kirkham Oval in Camden this Saturday at 1:30pm.

The Raiders will be looking for back to back wins after defeating the Rabbitohs 16-14 last week to earn their first win of the season.

The women in green sit just one place below the Tigers on the ladder, so it should be a tight contest.
