NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg Round 12 preview

The Canberra Raiders NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg teams are back at GIO Stadium this Sunday as part of a triple header against the Parramatta Eels.

Both sides will be looking to continue their winning ways after enjoying wins against the South Sydney Rabbitohs last Saturday.

The Raiders NSW Cup team has been boosted for the match with some familiar faces named in the side.

Semi Valemei will make his return from injury in the centres, while Matt Frawley has been named at five-eighth.

Harry Rushton has been named at lock, with Corey Harawira-Naera to start in the second row.

The Raiders will be looking for their third straight NSW Cup win, having beaten the Eels and the Rabbitohs in recent weeks on either side of their bye rounds.

The Raiders were 28-4 winners last time they met the Eels in Round Eight, with Albert Hopoate scoring a double.

The Eels have named a strong squad, with Maika Sivo, Jake Arthur, Mitch Rein and Bryce Cartwright all listed to play.

The Raiders currently sit in seventh position on the NSW Cup ladder with five wins from their nine games, while the Eels are in fifth place with six wins from 10 games.
