NSW Cup & Jersey Flegg Round 19 Preview

It is a triple header at GIO Stadium this Saturday with the Raiders NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg teams both in action before the NRL match.

The NSW Cup side take on the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs at 12:40pm on Saturday in what is a huge clash.

The Raiders currently sit in fifth place on the ladder but are just one point behind the third placed Bulldogs so a win this weekend could see the men in green finish the round in the top three.

The Raiders' four game winning streak came to an end last round at the hands of the Mounties, with a last minute try proving the difference between the two sides.

There has been a number of changes to the Raiders side for this weekend's clash. Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad has been named at fullback in a huge boost for the side, bringing plenty of NRL experience.

Elijah Anderson shifts to the centres, while Michael Asomua returns to the wing.

Brad Schneider will partner Matt Frawley in the halves, after the former played in the Jersey Flegg side over the weekend.

Schneider has been in great form in his four matches in NSW Cup so far this season, managing games well while also recording five try assists, eight tackle breaks, 246 running metres and one try.

Ata Mariota returns as starting prop having played in the Flegg team last week too.

The Raiders take on a strong Bulldogs outfit who are coming off the back of a 20-10 victory over the Rabbitohs last weekend.

Bulldogs fullback Matt Dufty scored a double in that game, adding to his try scoring tally of six tries in six NSW Cup games so far this season.

Dufty has been named again at fullback this weekend, with Jayden Okunbor, Brandon Wakeham and Jeral Skelton among the other dangerous players for the Bulldogs.

The Raiders met the Bulldogs back in round two this season, with Canterbury winning that game 48-12.

The Raiders Jersey Flegg side also take on the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs on Saturday, kicking off at 11am.
