Congratulations to Brandon Withers of the West Belconnen Warriors for his selection at wing in the 2022 Canberra Raiders Cup Team of the Year.
Withers was such an important piece to the premiership winning Warriors of the 2022 season.
A prolific try-scoring machine, Withers scored 15 tries in 16 games on the left wing for West Belconnen.
The left-edge of Withers, Peace and Middleton for the Warriors were one of the many threats the premiers possessed all year.
The modern-day winger is now expected to not only score tries but to take the tough carries out of their own end when returning the ball.
Withers may have been the best at both this season, consistently getting his side on the front foot and finishing plenty of tries at the other end.
A West Belconnen junior, Withers has consistently improved season to season and only continues to add value to his beloved 'Two Blues.'
