Wheelchair Rugby League expands its reaches to Bathurst

Canberra Region Wheelchair Rugby League will continue to expand its reaches when it heads to Bathurst for a Come and Try event on Saturday, November 12th.

The Come and Try event will be held at the Bathurst Indoor Basketball Stadium from 10.30am – 12.30pm this Saturday, where all are welcome to attend and get involved.

This event is centered around creating a regular Wheelchair Rugby League program in the region for 2023.

Wheelchair Rugby League is a sport for all, not just a sport for people in a Wheelchair and are continually encouraging able-bodied players to participate.

Wheelchair Rugby League is the only all-inclusive sports allowing people with a disability to compete with and against able-bodied athletes that most other sports can't provide.

The CRRL are continually recruiting players to play regularly in our Wheelchair Rugby League competitions including a local Bathurst team.

There are pathways in-place for the opportunity for individuals to progress from local and community participation through to the representative (State of Origin) and international level.
