Breaking down Raiders away games in 2023

There are some crucial away trips next year, including three trips to Queensland in the first six weeks and a trip to New Zealand.

We break down each of the Raiders away games for the 2023 season.

Round 1 - Cowboys v Raiders, Queensland Country Bank Stadium, Saturday 4 March 5:30pm

The Raiders kick off their 2023 season with a trip up to Townsville to take on the Cowboys.

After New Zealand, the trip to Far North Queensland is the furthest for the green machine. The hot and humid conditions will also be challenging, with the match kicking off at 5:30pm.

The Raiders played the Cowboys at QCB Stadium in round two last year, with the Cowboys winning that match 26-6.

Round 2 - Dolphins v Raiders, Moreton Daily Stadium, Saturday 11 March 5:30pm

It's back to back games in Queensland to kick off the season, with the Raiders taking on the Dolphins in Redcliffe in round two.

This will be the first time facing the new team the Dolphins, and will be the Dolphins first home game in Redcliffe.

The Raiders played at Moreton Daily Stadium last year against the Warriors, going down in golden point in that match.

It will be an exciting game against the newcomers to the NRL.

Round 4 - Knights v Raiders, McDonald Jones Stadium, Sunday 26 March 4:05pm

The Raiders are back on the road in round four, this time to Newcastle to take on the Knights.

The Raiders came from 22-8 down to defeat the Knights at McDonald Jones Stadium last season in round 23.

The Raiders have only played in Newcastle once in the last five seasons.

Round 6 - Broncos v Raiders, Suncorp Stadium, Saturday 8 April 7:35pm

The team travel to Brisbane to play the Broncos on Saturday night in round six.

It will be the third match in Queensland for the Raiders in the first six weeks of the competition.

The Broncos defeated the Raiders at Suncorp Stadium back in June, winning 24-18.

Round 10 - Bulldogs v Raiders, Suncorp Stadium, Friday 5 May 6pm

Kicking off the Magic Round weekend is the Raiders and Bulldogs match on Friday night.

The Raiders have won both their previous Magic Round clashes, including an impressive 20 point win over the Sharks last season.

This will be a great occasion for footy fans to catch all the games of round 10 at the one venue.

Round 13 - Rabbitohs v Raiders, Accor Stadium, Saturday 27 May 7:35pm

After two straight home games, the Raiders play the Rabbitohs at Accor Stadium in round 13.

The Raiders didn't play at Accor Stadium last year, with the Rabbitohs taking their home game against the Raiders to Dubbo instead.

Round 14 - Tigers v Raiders, Campbelltown Stadium, Friday 2 June 8pm

Back to back away games, with the Raiders taking on the Tigers at Campbelltown Stadium.

The Raiders last played at Campbelltown Stadium in 2020, playing three games there including two home games due to COVID restrictions at the time.

Round 17 - Roosters v Raiders, Allianz Stadium, Sunday 25 June 6:15pm

Raiders fans will get a chance to cheer on their side at the new Allianz Stadium in round 17.

Allianz Stadium re-opened at the start of September, having undergone a rebuild to be a state of the art facility.

The Roosters didn't host the Raiders last year, with the green machine winning the match at GIO Stadium Canberra.

Round 19 - Dragons v Raiders, WIN Stadium, Friday 7 July 8pm

The Raiders travel to Wollongong to take on the Dragons in round 19.

This is the second and last Friday 8pm game of the season for the Raiders.

In terrible weather conditions the Dragons recorded a controversial two point win over the Dragons last season at WIN Stadium, so the Raiders will be hoping to get one back this time.

Round 21 - Warriors v Raiders, Mt Smart Stadium, Friday 21 July 6pm

The New Zealand Warriors will host the Raiders in Auckland in round 21 on Friday night.

It is the first time since round 20 in 2019 that the Raiders have gone across to the ditch to play the Warriors, who have been unable to play games in NZ due to COVID restrictions.

The Raiders have won two of the last three games at Mt Smart Stadium, including a 46-12 win in 2019.

Round 24 - Storm v Raiders, AAMI Park, Sunday 13 August 2pm

Our home away from home, the Raiders return to AAMI Park to take on the Storm on Sunday afternoon.

Incredibly, the green machine have won the last five straight matches at AAMI Park against the Storm.

The Raiders defeated the Storm at home in finals week one this year, in what was an amazing performance to put them through to week two of finals.

Round 27 - Sharks v Raiders, PointsBet Stadium, Sunday 3 September 4:05pm

The last game of the regular season sees the Raiders travel up the highway to take on the Sharks at PointsBet Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Raiders won both games against the Sharks in the 2022 season, at GIO Stadium and in Magic Round.

The last game the Raiders played at PointsBet Stadium was back in round 24 in 2019.
