Raiders Foundation support Lily Croker in Australian Tagaroos team

The Raiders Foundation is proud to help support local Katrina Fanning Shield player Lily Croker, who is part of the Australian Tagaroos Women’s Open Oztag team that will compete at the International Tag Federation World Cup early next month.

Lily Croker, whose father is Raider #124 Jason Croker, will travel to Limerick in Ireland to compete in the five-day tournament which begins on August 2nd.

There are 16 players in the Women’s Open team, with five from the ACT including Lily.

Raiders Foundation Manager Paul Walshe said that the club is proud to support Lily to represent Australia.

“From the Raiders Foundation perspective it’s great to be able to support Lily financially to help with the costs associated with her trip over with the Australian team,” Walshe said.

“It’s going to give her a wonderful experience and she’ll come back with a lot more knowledge and skills.”

Lily currently plays for the Gungahlin Bulls in the Katrina Fanning Shield competition and is striving to play for the Raiders NRLW team one day.

“I want to play for the Raiders, that would be the goal. I’ve still got a bit ahead of me but that’s the dream.”
