Junior Reps Preview: Round Nine

The Canberra Raiders take on the South Sydney Rabbitohs in all three grades this week, with the SG Ball Cup side travelling to Redfern Oval on Friday. Meanwhile, the Harold Matts and Tarsha Gale Cup sides play at Seiffert Oval in Queanbeyan on Saturday afternoon.

SG Ball Cup

The SG Ball side will travel to Redfern to take on a South Sydney side who are fresh off a bye in the final round game of the season.

After a disappointing loss to the St George Dragons last week, the Raiders will be looking to bounce back with a win and end their season on a high.

Currently sitting in ninth place on the ladder, the Raiders will miss out on a top six finish needed to play in finals.

They face a South Sydney side who will be fresh after having the week off and will be looking to end their season on a positive note after a difficult season.

Harold Matthews Cup

The Raiders Harold Matts side will return home for the final game of the season looking to finish a disappointing competition on a high with a win.

The Raiders are coming into the final round after an impressive twenty point victory of the St George Dragons last week, securing their second win of the season in the process.

The Rabbitohs come into the final match off the bye and will be looking to finish the season with a win over a Raiders side who sit on the same competition points as them.

With this being the last round of the season and both sides unable to play finals, they will be looking to finish the competition on a positive note.

Tarsha Gale Cup

Following the Harold Matts contest, the Raiders Tarsha Gale side will face a struggling South Sydney side in the final game of the season.

The Raiders are entering round nine with some momentum, after an impressive 34-10 victory over the St George Dragons last week.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are coming into the matchup after suffering defeat against the Wests Tigers last week.

Similar to the Harold Matts and SG Ball side, the Tarsha Gale side will not be able to qualify for finals this season, however a win will be a strong end to the season.
