Jersey Flegg Cup: Round Five Wrap

The Raiders Jersey Flegg Cup side had a strong win over the weekend against Parramatta Eels. It was a back-and-forth contest with the Raiders holding on for a 22-16 win at Raiders Belconnen.

Although Parramatta Eels Hurinui Twindle was a standout with multiple tries, the Raiders came out firing, establishing a lead of 12-4 by halftime.

Raiders hooker Owen Pattie continued his form to begin the season, crossing for a four-pointer in the second half to close out the win 22-16.

Canberra look to continue this winning streak as they've started the season five from five, currently sitting at the top of the Ladder.

The Raiders will look to remain undefeated with a second home game this Sunday, when they take on the Bulldogs at Raiders Belconnen.
