Jersey Flegg Cup Round Six Wrap

The Canberra Raiders Jersey Flegg side suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of the Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon, going down 38-12 at Raiders Belconnen.

The Bulldogs jumped to an early 10-0 lead, before Raiders second rower Jaxon Lavender scored a try.

Jesse Limon converted to close the gap to 10-6.

But the Bulldogs regained the momentum and extended their lead to 20-6 in the second half.

Lavender scored his second try of the game in the 55th minute, but it wasn't enough as the Bulldogs ran away with a 26 point victory.

Despite the loss, the Raiders remain on top of the ladder and are two points ahead of the Bulldogs and Panthers.

They take on the Storm in round seven action next Saturday at Seabrook Reserve in Broadmeadows.
