Woden Valley Rams vs Gungahlin Bulls, 9:30am Saturday at Phillip Oval

The Woden Valley Rams return home this weekend for a contest against the Gungahlin Bulls on Saturday morning.

The Rams enter this week fresh off having last weekend off with the bye and will be aiming to continue their strong start to the season against the table topping Bulls.

Gungahlin enjoyed a comprehensive 60-point victory over the Bulldogs last Saturday and in the process continued their undefeated campaign.

This top four clash shapes as one of the biggest games of the season with both sides hoping for a win to cement their premiership credentials.

Tuggernaong Bushrangers vs Belconnen United Sharks, 10:40am Saturday at Greenway Oval

The Belconnen United Sharks travel to the home of the Tuggeranong Bushrangers this Saturday for an intriguing match.

The Bushrangers come into Round Eight after securing their first win of the season last week against the Kangaroos.

Meanwhile, the Sharks suffered an 18-point loss to the Magpies and will be hoping to overturn a slow start to the season which sees them in eighth position on the ladder.

This matchup holds significance for both sides as a win for either team will see them secure only their second win of the season.

Goulburn City Bulldogs vs West Belconnen Warriors, 10:40am Saturday at Workers Arena

The Goulburn City Bulldogs will face the West Belconnen Warriors at Workers Arena this Saturday morning.

The Warriors secured a strong victory over the Blues last weekend which sees them sit comfortably in fourth place on the KFS ladder.

Last week the Bulldogs suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of Gungahlin and will be hoping to overturn a disappointing start to the season.

Goulburn will gain confidence from returning to Workers Arena with this being where they secured their first win of the season, while West Belconnen will be aiming for three wins in a row.

Bungendore Kangaroos vs Yass Magpies, 12:00pm Saturday at Seears Workwear Oval

The Bungendore Kangaroos return home this weekend for a contest against the Yass Magpies on Saturday morning.

The Kangaroos endured a fifth defeat of the season last weekend against the Bushrangers away from home and will be aiming to secure the elusive first win of the season.

The Magpies secured their second win of the season last week against Belconnen United and will be looking to build upon this against Bungendore.

This weekend will see the Kangaroos continue their search for their first win of the season, while Yass will be aiming to secure back to back wins for the first time this year.
