McDonald’s Extends Partnership as the Official Quick Service Restaurant and Major Sponsor of the Canberra Raiders

The Canberra Raiders are proud to announce that McDonald’s Australia have extended their Major Partnership with the Club until the end of the 2027 season.

This partnership extension will see the Golden Arches on both the NRL and NRLW shorts, and the McDonald’s brand will remain prominent at home fixtures with branding on the Goal Post Pads.

Macca’s have been in partnership with the Canberra Raiders for over 20 years, and are extremely proud to be one of the first major sponsors of the Club’s inaugural NRLW team which entered the competition in 2023.

Canberra Raiders CEO Don Furner said this extended long term partnership that now incorporates both NRL and NRLW is a great indication of the strength of the partnership.

"We're proud to continue our longstanding partnership with McDonald's, with their logo featuring on both our NRL and NRLW apparel," Furner said. "The local Macca’s restaurants here in Canberra do a wonderful job in supporting the Club and community initiatives and we look forward to continuing with McDonald's until at least the end of 2027."

About McDonald’s

This partnership would not be possible without the generous support of the 23 restaurants in the Australian Capital Territory and surrounding areas, employing over 2,400 people from the local community.

McDonald’s is committed to playing an active role in local communities through providing jobs, training and development opportunities, as well as supporting local causes and groups.

Amanda Nakad, Director of Marketing for McDonald’s Australia said, “Macca’s has been committed to supporting our people and customers in Canberra since opening our first restaurant over four decades ago.

“We have partnered with the Canberra Raiders for over 20 years and are excited to extend this partnership until the end of the 2027 season, featuring the iconic Golden Arches on the playing kit for both NRL and NRLW.”
