NSW Cup & Jersey Flegg Round Five Preview

The Raiders NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg teams are back in action at Raiders Belconnen this Saturday as both teams look to record important wins.

The Knock on Effect NSW Cup

The Raiders NSW Cup team face the Jets at Raiders Belconnen on Saturday as they look bounce back from last week.

Despite some tight matches to start the season, the Raiders are yet to record a win so will want to turn things around against the Jets on Saturday afternoon.

The Raiders suffered some major injuries last week against the Roosters, with Albert Hopoate (ACL), Ethan Sanders (eye socket) and Jordan Martin (hand) all set for extended time on the sidelines.

Vena Patuki-Case and Peter Taateo have been named in the starting front row for this weekend, with Mitchell Prest the new face on the bench.

This week's opponents the Jets are currently undefeated and will be a tough team to face.

Jersey Flegg Cup

The Raiders Jersey Flegg side take on the Sharks this Saturday as they look to continue their winning ways.

It's been a very strong start to the season for the Raiders, who have won their opening four games.

Their attack has been particularly impressive, scoring 30 points or more in their first four matches. Patrick Broe has scored four tries in the last two games.

Couple of changes to the side ahead of the Sharks clash. Patrick Broe moves to the wing, with Tariq Tanner in the centres.

Shalom Uatisone will start in the second row, with Jai Purser on the bench.

The Sharks are coming off a tight two point loss to the Bulldogs last week so will be wanting to bounce back this weekend.
