NSW Cup & Jersey Flegg: Round 9 Wrap

The Canberra Raiders bagged two important wins on the road, defeating the Panthers in both NSW Cup & Jersey Flegg on Sunday afternoon.

Knock On Effect NSW Cup

In an arm-wrestle contest, both sides traded tries in the first half to head into the sheds even at 10-all.

Canberra held on to claim the 16-10 win, holding the Panthers scoreless in the second half.

The Raiders will travel to Wollongong to take on the Warriors this weekend in a bid to stay in the top eight.

Jersey Flegg Cup

The Raiders returned to the winner's circle in the Jersey Flegg Cup, defeating the Panthers 34-12 in a big second half performance.
