In-front of a sold-out GIO Stadium, the Raiders charged up field to apply some early pressure.
Tom Starling played a short ball to Zac Hosking, who pushed his way through to score the first try in the opening minutes of play. Jamal Fogarty converted to make it 6-nil.
The Raiders’ defence was superb at the start of the first half, with the Bulldogs unable to break through.
The Raiders took advantage of the back of a penalty with Kaeo Weekes using his speed to burst through a hole and burn past Connor Tracey to score.
The Raiders continued to wreak havoc on the Bulldogs' left edge with a run on the last play. Canberra spread it to Matt Timoko, who burst through a hole and found Xavier Savage who scored in the corner to give the Raiders a 16-0 lead.
The Raiders took full advantage of a penalty, Fogarty playing a short ball to a rampaging Hudson Young, who beat the fullback and scored the Raiders’ fourth try, going into the break 20-nil up.
The Bulldogs were first on the board in the second half, spreading out to the left-hand side with Stephen Crichton going through a hole to score the first try for the Bulldogs, making it 20-6.
The Bulldogs cut through the defence of the Raiders with Crichton drawing in the fullback and giving it to Jaemon Salmon to score back-to-back tries in quick succession to make the score 20-12.
Canterbury spread the ball right once again and some quick hands found Marcelo Montoya in the corner, bringing the Bulldogs back 20-16.
A break from halfway gave the Bulldogs another attacking opportunity close to the line, and it was an inside ball which found Max King to put the Bulldogs in the lead 22-20.
An error from Canberra gave Canterbury another opportunity close to the line. A shift to the leftt-hand side saw Viliame Kikau charge over the line to push the Bulldogs out to a 26-20 lead
The Bulldogs attack the right edge of the Raiders found Jacob Kiraz, who muscled his way over to give the Bulldogs a 32-20 victory.
The Raiders will look to bounce back in round 11 when they take on the Gold Coast Titans at GIO Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
