The Canberra Region Rugby League have successfully retained the George Tooke Shield vs Woodbridge Cup in superb day at Boorowa on Saturday.

It was an impressive afternoon for the GTS Open’s Men team with the side going unbeaten in their two games.
The altered format provided the George Tooke Shield with an opportunity to face the Regan Cup for the first time and it was an impressive 20-6 win.
Austin Power was the focal point of the attack in the opening game with the fullback scoring two tries.
In the annual George Tooke Shield vs Woodbridge Cup match the side secured a comprehensive 20-4 victory.
Cooper Cross was instrumental in guiding GTS to their second victory of the day with the five eighth scoring two tries and slotting two conversions, whilst Jayden Cutting also crossed for a double.
George Tooke Shield League Tag
The George Tooke Shield League Tag side secured a tight two-point victory over the Woodbridge Cup which sees the side retain the annual trophy.
In the closest contest of the afternoon, Taylor Giggins opened the scoring for GTS before a try to Laura Price put the Woodbridge Cup up by two points.
With the game on the line, it was Georgia Smith who stood up for GTS and crossed for the match winning try, securing an important victory.
CRRL U/18s
The Canberra Region Rugby League Under 18s secured an impressive come from behind victory over the Woodbridge Cup Under 18s.
After trailing by ten points early in the contest, CRRL put on four unanswered tries which saw the side secure victory in the inaugural Under 18s Challenge Cup matchup.
Winger Henry Perkins kick started the comeback with CRRLs first two tries, before forwards Tyler Buchanan and Rory Arabin put the result beyond doubt.
