NSW Cup: Round 11 Wrap

The Raiders NSW Cup side bounced back with an important win over the Jets at Henson Park and have moved up to seventh on the ladder.

The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup

The Raiders have grabbed the two points with a thrilling 30-18 win against the Jets.

The Jets opened the scoring through Kristian Dixon with an early spread in the opening minutes of play.

Canberra replied quickly with a short ball to Noah Martin, who powered over a couple of defenders to make the score even.

Josh Cook darted his way over the line to give the Jets a narrow six-point lead going into the half.

Both the Raiders and the Jets shared a try apiece coming out of the half, levelling the scores at 18-all with just 26 minutes to play.

The Raiders scored two tries in three minutes with Trey Mooney producing a magical flick pass to Adam Cook, who gave the Raiders the lead for the first time in the match.

With just minutes remaining, it was the youngster Ethan Alaia who burst through multiple tired defenders to score a fantastic try and give the Raiders the 30-18 win.

After the Raiders' slow start to the year, they have picked up over the last couple of weeks and will look to continue this momentum heading into the next match.

Both the Raiders NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg sides will be back in action at Raiders Belconnen this Sunday when they take on the Dragons.
