The Canberra Raiders NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg sides will travel to Sydney to take on the Sydney Roosters at Wentworth Park this Sunday afternoon.
Knock-On Effect NSW Cup
The Raiders NSW Cup side enter round 13 off the back of a close loss against the Dragons last Sunday.
Although the Raiders came out firing and were leading at half time, the Dragons bounced back taking the win.
The Raiders will be looking for redemption with a slightly altered forward pack from last week with Mitchell Prest and Vena Patuki-Case moving from the bench to prop and Jordan Martin moving to lock.
Meanwhile, the Roosters had a big loss against the Jets, falling 54-0 last week.
The last time these two sides met was in round four where the Roosters took the win 34-26 in Canberra.
Jersey Flegg Cup
Canberra’s Jersey Flegg side will be hoping to continue their winning streak into round 13 after a great win against the Dragons last Sunday in Queanbeyan.
This week they have the opportunity to move back into the top four if successful against the Roosters on Sunday.
The backline switches up slightly this week with Tim Carson moving to winger and Tariq Tanner moving to centre.
They come up against the ninth placed Roosters who come off the back of a loss against the Sharks last Saturday.
The last time these sides faced off was in round four where the Raiders out gunned the Roosters 30-24 at home.
