The Canberra Raiders NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg sides will host the South Sydney Rabbitohs at home this weekend as both sides eye off wins.
Knock-on Effect NSW Cup
Match: Raiders v Rabbitohs
Round 14 -
home Team
Raiders
8th Position
away Team
Rabbitohs
13th Position
Venue: GIO Stadium, Canberra
The Raiders' NSW Cup side will be looking to bounce back after suffering a tough loss against the Roosters last Sunday.
In what was a disappointing defeat last weekend, Joe Roddy was a standout for Canberra scoring his first career hat-trick.
A reshuffled back line for the Raiders sees Chevy hold his spot at fullback with Kain Anderson moving into the centres, and Ethan Sanders will look to move back to halfback if Jamal Fogarty is set to go.
On the other hand, the Rabbitohs suffered their 10th loss of the season, going down 24-6 against the Warriors last Saturday.
It’s the first time this year that these two teams will meet up, and the Raiders will be looking to find momentum heading into the middle of the season.
The Raiders will take on the Bunnies at GIO Stadium on Sunday at 4:00 pm.
Jersey Flegg Cup
Match: Raiders v Rabbitohs
Round 14 -
home Team
Raiders
3rd Position
away Team
Rabbitohs
13th Position
Venue: Raiders Belconnen, Canberra
The Raiders will be looking to make it five on the trot when they take on the Rabbitohs this Saturday afternoon at Raiders Belconnen.
The Raiders currently sit third on the ladder and have an opportunity to move into first if they win on Saturday and results go their way.
The Green Machine remain unchanged for this weekend's clash against the Bunnies.
Meanwhile, the Bunnies currently sit in 12th place with three wins and nine losses and just fell short last Saturday, going down 30-26 against the Warriors.
Both sides have not met each other this season, but the Raiders will be aiming for their fifth consecutive win and go close to that top spot.
