CRRL Blue Tag Carnival Wrap

The CRRL Opens claimed victory in the Inaugural Blues Tag Carnival, whilst Group 16 North secured the Under 16s title.

The CRRL opens side claimed victory against tough opposition on Saturday against Group Nine and Group Seven. 

The side went through undefeated, claiming three wins from as many games, with the highlight being an impressive 38-0 victory in the Grand Final against Group Nine. 

Under 16s

The Blue Tag Carnival provided the under 16s their first representative opportunity, with all teams involved in the event producing scintillating Rugby League. 

It was a tough day for the CRRL under 16s, who were unable to claim victory on the scoreboard, however it was a fantastic opportunity to gain some rep experiences.

It was the two Group 16 sides who played off in the final, with North coming away with a two tries to one victory over their South counterparts.
