The Raiders Jersey Flegg Cup side sit top of the competition ladder after their 46-4 victory over the Melbourne Storm on Saturday afternoon.

Meanwhile, the Raiders NSW Cup side fell 34-28 to the Bears on Sunday in a tight contest.

Canberra scored a brilliant 46-4 win over the joint competition leaders to leapfrog the Melbourne into first on the ladder.

The Raiders flew out of the gates, opening up a 22-0 lead heading into the halftime break.

The Raiders didn't slow down, racking up nine tries including Tim Carson and Jalen Afamasaga crossing for doubles.

Canberra coach Jordan Macey would be impressed with their defence, holding the second ranked attacking side to just four points.

Knock On Effect NSW Cup

The Raiders NSW Cup side were defeated 34-28 to the Bears on Sunday afternoon in a tight finish.

Canberra trailed 20-12 at the halftime break after the home side started fast with four tries in the first half.

The Raiders rallied back with three tries in the opening stages of the second half to hit the front.

The Bears were awarded a late try through Trey Brown to re-gain the lead and close out the win.

Canberra will look to return to the winner's circle this weekend against the Bulldogs at Belmore.
