The Canberra Raiders NRLW team have suffered a tough 56-6 loss against the Cronulla Sharks at GIO Stadium Canberra.
It was the Sharks' spine that was led by Emma Verran, who killed the Raiders' defence scoring four tries and setting up two to steer her side to a big win in Canberra and continue their win streak against the green machine.
The Sharks were first on the board inside the first five minutes with a terrific kick hitting the goalpost and rebounding back to Quincy Dodd, who goes over to give the Sharks a 6-0 lead.

The Sharks have continued to show their dominance with some terrific offloading to keep the ball alive, with Dodd throwing a short ball to Stephanie Faulkner, who barges her way over to give the Sharks a 24-6 lead.
Off the back of another error from the Raiders, the Sharks capitalised with an inside ball to Verran to grab her third and push the Sharks' lead out to 30-6 going into the break.
Coming out of the break, it was the Sharks' first on the board off the back of a Canberra error, with a spread to the left-hand side which saw Verran power her way over to give the Sharks a 34-6 lead.
A break from Dodd through the middle of the Raiders' defence saw multiple passes which in the end found Stephanie Faulkner, who goes under the posts for her second and gives the Sharks a 40-6 lead.
Unforced errors killed the Raiders, with the Sharks having more ball possession close to the line.
A crash play from the Sharks saw them score their eighth try of the game with a short ball from Brooke Anderson, which found Rhiannon Byers to further push the Sharks' lead out to 46-6.
Another penalty going the Sharks' way saw a beautiful cut-out pass to the right winger, Georgia Ravics to put the Sharks up 50-6.
Minutes before fulltime, the Sharks split the Raiders' defence in half with Verran going straight through the middle and drawing in the fullback and giving it off to Byers to score her second and give the Sharks a 56-6 win at GIO stadium.
