The Tuggeranong Bushrangers have travelled to Seears Workwear Oval and secured their seventh win in a row against the Queanbeyan Kangaroos.
In what was a physical contest, which saw both sides attack with their defence, it was the visitors who withstood the pressure best and secured an important win for their final's aspirations.
The Bushrangers started the better of the two sides, with errors from the Kangaroos in consecutive sets providing the visitors with early field position.
This opening, led to the first points of the afternoon as Haywood Whiley attracted multiple defenders creating space on the outside, which Eddie Tiaina punched through, giving the Bushrangers the led in the opening five minutes.

The resumption of the second half saw both teams in a back-and-forth arm wrestle, neither side backing down from the contest resulting in an error riddled opening exchanges.
It was the home side who settled first and opened the scoring as a grubber kick from Williams was pounced upon by Lucas Thompson, reducing the margin to two for the second time in the contest.
This would be the last try for the next twenty minutes, as both sides attacked with their defence, resulting in heavy collisions.
