The Toyota Forklifts Canberra Raiders have secured their ninth win in a row with a dominant 44-18 victory, which keeps them on top of the NRL ladder for the fifth consecutive week.
A fantastic all-round effort from the Canberra Raiders saw them pile on the points and look threatening every time they touched the football.
It was the Green Machine first on the board with slick ball movement out towards Jed Stuart, who sprinted towards the tryline and offloaded to Hudson Young who then gave a quick tap on to Kaeo Weekes to give the Raiders a 6-0 lead inside the first 10 minutes.
The Knights off the back of a penalty troop, down the Raiders' end and with a neat offload from Leo Thompson to Kai Pearce-Paul who goes over untouched to level the scores at 6 apiece.
An error from the Knights saw the Raiders off the back of scrum spread it left to a rampaging Simi Sasagi who shoves off two to go over to score Raiders' second and gives them a 12-6 lead.
Back-to-back repeat set for the Knights gives them another opportunity to put more points on the board.
A spread to the left-hand side saw some great ball movement, and Greg Marzhew strolled over to draw the scores at 12-all.
With five minutes remaining before half-time, some slick ball movement to Xavier Savage on the last saw him go over in the corner to give the Raiders an 18-12 lead.
A couple of seconds before halftime, the Raiders throw one too many passes and spot out Fletcher Hunt, who goes over to level the scores at 18-all heading into the sheds.
Coming out of the half, it was the Raiders with a kick that comes down to Savage, which finds Josh Papalii who gives it to Starling who stops and goes and bursts straight through to score under the posts and give the Raiders a 24-18 lead.
With the help of a six again, the Raiders power their way downfield, and a short ball from Fogarty finds a rampaging Matt Timoko, who goes over to give the Raiders a 30-18 lead.
A penalty from the Knights being offside, the Raiders decide to take the extra two points and further push their lead out to 32-18.
Fogarty launches up yet another terrifically placed kick which spills onto the ground and Noah Martin jumps on it for his first NRL try to further push the Raider lead out to 38-18.
The Green Machine are on fire with some quick hands on the last, which finds Matt Timoko, who goes over untouched to give the Raiders a 44-18 lead, with just eight minutes remaining.
The Raiders take home yet another dominant 44-18 win in front of an electric crowd at GIO Stadium and will be set to take on the St George Illawarra Dragons next Saturday.
