Katrina Fanning Shield: Round 15 Wrap

Round 15 of the Blumer's Lawyers Katrina Fanning Shield saw the Belconnen United Sharks claim a big victory against the Gungahlin Bulls in the only match of the round.

Belconnen United Sharks 30 def. Gungahlin Bulls 0

The Belconnen United Sharks have kept their hopes of a top two finish alive with a dominant victory over the Gungahlin Bulls on Saturday morning.

For the Sharks, the thirty-point victory sees them one point behind the Woden Valley Rams, who currently sit in second, interchange player Summer Luamanu was their best on the day crossing for two tries.

Meanwhile, for the Bulls the loss has them remain in fourth position and two points clear of their nearest rivals, however with two games remaining they will need to claim victory to ensure they partake in Semi-Finals action.

The Bulls will be looking to bounce back next weekend against the Woden Valley Rams at Boomanulla Oval, whilst the Sharks have the bye in Round 16 before taking on the Magpies the week after.
