NSW Cup & Jersey Flegg to feature in 2025 Finals Series

The Canberra Raiders NSW Cup & Jersey Flegg Cup sides have qualified for finals following strong victories over the Panthers on Saturday across both grades.

Knock On Effect NSW Cup

The Raiders have claimed the fifth spot in the NSW Cup finals series after winning their seventh straight on Saturday with a strong 34-8 victory over the Panthers.

Canberra entered Saturday's contest needing a win by a margin of four or more and did just that thanks to a great team performance.

Raiders winger Jensen Taumoepeau crossed for a double as the Green Machine piled on six tries to continue their hot win streak.

The Raiders will now turn their attention to the Newtown Jets for an elimination final this Saturday at Jubilee Park.

Jersey Flegg Cup

The Raiders Jersey Flegg Cup side have claimed third on the ladder and a spot in Saturday's qualifying final against the Sharks.

The Raiders ran away 40-18 victors over the Panthers on Saturday to move up the ladder, where they now receive a second chance in finals.

Raiders lock Xavier Cacciotti crossed over for a hattrick alongside backrower Jaxon Lavender who scored a double in the side's big win.

The team will now shift their focus to the Cronulla Sharks who they face on Saturday afternoon at Jubilee Park for a chance to face the Storm in next week's Grand Final qualifier.
