The Canberra Raiders have suffered a narrow 26-14 defeat against the Sydney Roosters at Allianz Stadium.
Although only just going down against the Roosters, the Raiders' never-give-up attitude was the highlight of the match, with Elise Simpson, Isabella Waterman and Zahara Temara all scoring fantastic tries in their team's narrow loss.
Following an error from the Raiders, Roosters had the first opportunity to strike within the first half.

It was a back-and-forth contest between the two sides inside the first 15 minutes, with both sides' defence being the highlight.

The Raiders on the last tackle through Sereana Naitokatoka, who puts it to the sky with Isabella Waterman running through who takes it in the air and puts it down to make it 6-4.
With just two minutes remaining in the first half, an error from inside the Raiders' 20 allows the Roosters to push their lead.
Off the back of the scrum, the Roosters shift it right with Aiken throwing a fantastic cut-out ball to Mia Wood who puts the Roosters up 10-4 at the break.
An early error in the second half from the Raiders saw the Roosters take the first opportunity with Jessica Sergis burning past defenders to push their lead out to 16-4.
The Raiders charged up into the Roosters' half with the help of a penalty and through Zehara Temara who puts in a cheeky grubber kick and chases through to put it down and cut the deficit to 16-10.
With the help of a repeat set, the Roosters charged down into the Raiders' half and some quick hands on the right-hand side saw Mia Wood stroll over for her second and give the Roosters a 20-10 lead.
An error from the Roosters allows the Raiders an opportunity to score with just 10 minutes remaining.
Off the back of some brilliance from Simpson who carries multiple defenders over the line to score and cuts the deficit to 20-14.
With just a couple minutes remaining before fulltime Aiken dummies her way through the line and beats the fullback to give the Roosters a 26-14 win, ending the Raiders' hopes of a first finals appearance.
