KFS Team of the Year 2025: Fullback

Congratulations to Lara Cosgrove (Woden Valley Rams) on being selected as the Fullback in the 2025 Katrina Fanning Shield Team of the Year. 

The Rams fullback starred for her side in the 2025 campaign producing consistent performances, culminating in being announced the Maree Bush Medalist as the competition's best player at the Les McIntyre Awards night.

Along with the competitions best and fairest, Cosgrove also finished the regular season as the top try scorer (23) and top point scorer (150) highlighting her dominant season. 

Known for her light footwork and ability to glide across the field, Cosgrove proved a handful for opposition defenders. 

A notable performance this season was in Round 11, where the Woden Valley Junior guided her team to a second half comeback against the Belconnen United Sharks, crossing for two tries. 

In only her second year in the KFS, Cosgrove has staked her claim to be crowned the competitions best player and the CRRL is excited for Cosgrove's continued success in Rugby League.
