CRC Team of the Year 2025: Five Eight

Congratulations to Ryan McQueen (West Belconnen Warriors) for his selection as the Five Eight in the 2025 Canberra Raiders Cup Team of the Year. 

The West Belconnen Captain Coach led from the front for his beloved Warriors guiding them to a third placed finish. 

Despite missing the middle part of the year with a hamstring injury, McQueen featured in twelve games for the Warriors, splitting his time between fullback and five-eight.

Along with guiding his Warriors to third position, McQueen also brought up a special milestone, playing his 150th First Grade game for the Warriors against the Gungahlin Bulls in the final game of the regular season.  

Known for his direct ball playing and ability to play with tempo, McQueen scored eight tries this season and finished third in the Les McIntyre Medal voting.
