CRC Team of the Year 2025: Halfback

Congratulations to Dylan McLachlan (Queanbeyan Blues) for his selection in the 2025 Canberra Raiders Cup Team of the Year. 

The Blues captain guided his side to their first premiership since 2019, playing a pivotal role in the decider scoring two tries, including the match winner. 

The 2024 Les McIntyre medalist entered this year with a point to prove after suffering defeat in last year's Grand Final leaving no stone unturned in his quest for redemption. 

There was no second-year syndrome for McLachlan as he continued his strong form, finishing second in this year's Les McIntyre medal and was the premier halfback in the competition, playing every game and scoring seven tries. 

McLachlan's best game came in the 2025 Grand Final, where he successfully claimed the premiership for the Queanbeyan Blues and winning the Clyde Medal for the player of the match in the process.
