CRC Team of the Year 2025: Lock

Congratulations to Darby Medlyn (Tuggeranong Bushrangers) on his selection as the Lock in the Canberra Raiders Cup Team of the Year in 2025.

After missing the 2024 season with an ACL injury, the former Canberra Raider returned in a new role for his beloved Bushrangers, as a ball playing lock.

Medlyn looked like he hadn't missed a beat in his return season, as he claimed the 2025 Les McIntyre Medal for the competitions Best & Fairest, after he guided his team to a ten-game win streak during the Regular Season.

Along with his on-field performances, Medlyn was recognised for his coaching ability alongside Brenden Bradley as the two were recognised as the Don Furner Snr Coaches of the Year.

With the Bushrangers suffering a soul crushing defeat in the Preliminary Final, Medlyn will be aiming to guide his outfit back to the finals in 2026 and launch a significant Premiership tilt.
