Congratulations to Halle Constable (Belconnen United Sharks), Lola Fletcher (West Belconnen Warriors), Katelyn Staples (Goulburn City Bulldogs), Hayley Liddle (Yass Magpies) and Taylor Kilby-Connelly (Gungahlin Bulls) for their selections on the interchange bench in the 2025 Katrina Fanning Shield Team of the Year.
#14- Halle Constable (Belconnen United Sharks)
In a big 2025 season Halle Constable was instrumental in guiding the Belconnen United Sharks to their first KFS Grand Final.
Not missing a game for the Sharks this season, the crafty number nine offered spark to her side's attack scoring eight tries this year and kicking 14 goals, for a total of 60 points in 2025.
Along with her performances for the Sharks, Constable also featured in five games for the Canberra Raiders Tarsha Gale side.
In 2025, Constable featured in the Team of the Week on six separate occasions.
#15 - Lola Fletcher (West Belconnen Warriors)
Appearing in 12 games in the 2025 season, the West Belconnen Warriors co-captain played a significant role in their quest back to the top of the Katrina Fanning Shield.
Known for her ability to control the middle of the field, Fletcher rolls off the back of an impressive forward pack and creates opportunity for her outside players.
Along with a strong club season, the dummy half featured in multiple representative teams, playing two games for Monaro and representing NSW in the Australian Rugby League State Challenge.
Fletcher is the third dummy half selected in the 2025 KFS Team of the Year, highlighting the strength and quality of players in this position.
#16 - Katelyn Staples (Goulburn City Bulldogs)
In a tough season for the Bulldogs in the Katrina Fanning Shield, Katelyn Staples provided them with moments of brilliance.
Staples finished the 2025 season as Goulburn City's top try scorer as she split her time between fullback and the wing.
Katelyn's best game came in Round 17, as she was critical in guiding the Bulldogs to their first and only win of the season against the Bushrangers, scoring two tries.
As Goulburn City look to climb off the bottom of the ladder, Staples will play a critical role in that journey.
#17 - Hayley Liddle (Yass Magpies)
A consistent middle forward, Liddle laid a platform for the Magpies throughout the 2025 campaign.
Playing in every game for the Magpies, she proved to be difficult for opposition forward packs to handle.
A premiership player in 2023, Liddle continued her impressive performances into this season, which saw her crowned the Best & Fairest for the Yass Magpies.
After a strong season, Hayley will be looking to bounce into next year and improve on her side's Semi Final exit.
#18 - Taylor Kilby-Connelly (Gungahlin Bulls)
In her first season in the Katrina Fanning Shield, Kilby-Connelly proved to be a welcomed addition to the Gungahlin Bulls.
The middle forward featured in twelve games throughout the season and was a consistent performer, providing effort and grunt into the middle of the field.
Kilby-Connelly's consistency this season was highlighted at the Gungahlin Bulls presentation night, as she was awarded with the Player's Player award.
With only 12 months of Rugby League under her built, there is still plenty room for improvement for Kilby-Connelly which poises excitement for the Bulls and alarm bells for the rest of the competition.
