The ACT claimed the Inaugural LCA NRL Wheelchair Championships in dominant fashion last weekend on the Gold Coast.
Boasting the best defensive record and blistering attack, the ACT were a force to be reckoned with throughout the tournament, going through undefeated.
A comprehensive 52-4 victory against New South Wales set the tone for a strong weekend, with James Hill scoring a hat-trick and Zach Carl a double.
The ACT secured their second win by the same margin of forty-eight as they kept the Affiliated States to nil, before a 34-8 win against Victoria ensure they finished the first day undefeated.
After producing high quality performances on Day One, the expectation didn't impact the ACT claiming a 52-6 victory against QLD White and their tightest win against New Zealand 22-18.
An undefeated first two days ensured that the ACT had qualified for the final with one round game to play, however they didn't take the foot off the pedal in the final group game claiming their biggest win of the tournament 74-4 against QLD Maroon.
In the Championship Final the ACT faced New South Wales in a rematch of the opening game of the tournament and thanks to a second hat-trick from James Hill the ACT were able to secure the National Championships 42-4.
Zac Carl led to the competition for tries with 15, whilst Rick Engles was the top point scorer with 86.
