The Canberra Raiders are proud to announce that our NRL team has been named a finalist in the 2025 CBR Sport Awards. Team of the year category.
Following a stellar season that saw the Raiders crowned 2025 NRL Minor Premiers, the club has been recognised for its outstanding on-field performance.
The winners will be announced at the CBR Sport Awards Night on Wednesday, 20 November 2025.
In addition to the Raiders’ nomination, the Canberra Region Rugby League has also been named a finalist in the Innovation Category for the introduction of the Coach Developer Role, recognising its ongoing commitment to excellence in coaching and development of local volunteer coaches.
The Canberra Raiders would also like to extend our congratulations to Tim Gavel, Canberra’s own celebrated sports journalist, on his induction into the ACT Sports Hall of Fame.
We look forward to celebrating all of Canberra’s sporting achievements at the awards night on November 20th.
