The CRRL is pleased to announce a partnership with Urban Rec for an exciting Summer Wheelchair Rugby League competition.
Wheelchair Rugby League is a variation of the traditional game of rugby league and is unique as it enables all abilities and able-bodied athletes, as well as males and females to compete together and equally.
Beginning on the 24th of February 2026 at Mt Stromlo High School, the new competition is the first of its kind for Wheelchair Rugby League in the region.
Intending to create a pathway for players to regional, national and international competitions, the league offers mixed divisions for a variety of different skill sets for anyone 14+.
Urban Rec will also be running two come and try days in the weeks leading up to the competition, providing an opportunity for potential participants to gain experience of playing the sport.
All equipment will be provided by the CRRL and Urban Rec.
