CRRL Releases 2026 Canberra Raiders Cup Draw

The Canberra Region Rugby League is excited to announce the draw for the 2026 Blumers Lawyers Canberra Raiders Cup Draw, with fixtures now available for First Grade, Reserve Grade and League Tag.

The teams for the Katrina Fanning Shield are still being finalised, so the premier women’s tackle competition draw will be released once confirmed.

Meanwhile, the Under 19’s and George Tooke Shield draws are in the final stages and will be released in the coming weeks.

The Canberra Raiders Cup will span 18 Rounds, kicking off on the April 11 and culminating in the Grand Final on September 19.

Three scheduled bye rounds will take place throughout the season:

  • April 25/26 (ANZAC Day)
  • June 6/7 (Monarch’s birthday)
  • August 29/30 (Washout Round)

During the Monarch’s birthday long weekend, the CRRL will be hosting a Representative League Tag Carnival, with more information to be released closer to the competition.

Round One will feature four blockbuster matchups, headlined by a rematch of the 2025 Preliminary Final between the Tuggeranong Bushrangers and Queanbeyan Kangaroos at Greenway Oval and the return of Matt Frawley to the Canberra Region with his debut for the Bulls against the Bulldogs in Goulburn. 

The Queanbeyan Blues will kick off their campaign at home against the Belconnen United Sharks before meeting their archrivals the Kangaroos in Round 3 for the first of two Grand Final Rematches.
