Two of Canberra’s most well-known brands, the Canberra Raiders and Supaglass Industries, have joined forces ahead of the 2026 NRL Season.
The new partnership will see the Supaglass name adorn the Raiders Centre in Braddon as naming rights partner of the state-of-art facility for Canberra’s most elite sports team.
The impressive Raiders Centre that sits in Braddon, which opened in March 2020, is characterised by its eastern ‘glass’ façade that was manufactured and installed by Supaglass. Regular visitors to ‘Supaglass Raiders Centre’ are treated to stunning views of Mount Ainslie from Canberra’s City Centre.
Supaglass Industries are highly trusted partners of many builders and architects in the region; they are headquartered in Beard. The Supaglass team are highly committed to their local community and see the Raiders alignment as a catalyst for upcoming interstate growth potential.
Canberra Raiders CEO Don Furner said the new partnership was a huge positive for not only the Raiders, but also another huge endorsement for Canberra, “We are so proud to be partnering with another Canberra success story, a brand that has similar organisational values to us, that like us are proud of their innovation and hard work”.
Furner continued “There is so many components of our partnership that we can leverage, and we are highly committed to extend this partnership long term, beyond the initial 2-year agreement’.
General Manager of Supaglass Industries Steve Whitbread commented "This is a really special moment for us at Supaglass. We’re incredibly proud to become Major Sponsor and naming rights partner of the Supaglass Raiders Centre, especially because this building has been part of our story for some time.
Back in 2020, Supaglass manufactured, supplied and installed all of the glazed windows and doors throughout this facility, so this partnership feels like a natural continuation rather than just a sponsorship.
We’re proud to stand alongside the Raiders for 2026 and beyond.”
