The Raiders and Cowboys have flexed their muscle with big wins in Round 2 of the Witzer Pre-Season Challenge.
Last year's minor premiers Canberra returned to their spiritual home at Seiffert Oval and sent the big crowd home happy with a 32-6 win over the Storm.
Winger Michael Asomua grabbed a double and young playmakers Jalen Afamasaga and Ethan Alaia looked good as the Green Machine took home the full 15 points with 12 for the win and three bonus points for five or more tries (7), 10 or more offloads (11) and five or more line breaks (7).
In the second game of the night the Cowboys' superstars took control in the first half as Todd Payten's men set up a 44-0 lead.
The Panthers dug deep in the second half to put on four tries with the likes of Keahn Skipps and Zakauri Clarke producing some nice moments.
The 66-24 win was the ideal tune-up for the Cowboys as Reed Mahoney, Tom Dearden and Scott Drinkwater stamped their class in the opening 40 and then had the chance to put their feet up.
