Junior Reps Preview: Round Three

The Canberra Raiders junior reps will be back in action at Raiders Belconnen this Saturday, when they face the Panthers in all four grades.

Lisa Fiaola Cup

The Raiders meet the Panthers almost dead even, only 8 points separating the two on paper through for and against.

Canberra will be looking to regain momentum from round one's big win over the Dragons after a tough loss to the Bulldogs last week.

Meanwhile, the Panthers have had an up and down start to the season, dropping round one by two points before turning the tables on South Sydney 20-18 last weekend.

The matchup in the outside backs will be exciting with Raiders fullback Evie Perry already crossing for four tries this season against Penrith winger Leisiliva Tanaki's three tries.

Tarsha Gale Cup

The Raiders TG Cup side will take on the Panthers on Saturday in a bid to bounce back to the winner's circle.

The Green Machine held their own on Saturday after a 30-6 loss to the first-placed Bulldogs, with Gabriella Savage running away with a late intercept try to put them on the board.

They meet a Penrith outfit who are also one from two to start the season, with both sides looking to boost up the ladder to stay in touch with the leaders.

Harold Matthews Cup

The Raiders HM Cup side will kick-off the first of the junior boys fixtures, taking on the first-placed Panthers at home.

Canberra enters this contest after a tough defeat to the Bulldogs last weekend.

Meanwhile, the Panthers are flying at the top of the ladder after two strong wins over the Roosters to begin their campaign.

The Raiders will be looking to put in a more complete performance this weekend at home and test themselves against the competition leaders.

SG Ball Cup

The Raiders SG Ball Cup side face their third straight win to start the season, facing the Panthers to round out Saturday's action at Raiders Belconnen.

Canberra have done it the hard way, trailing 20-nil in their round one comeback victory, before conceding two late tries to the Bulldogs last weekend.

Meanwhile, the Panthers got back on the horse after their narrow round one defeat, putting 50 points on the CC Roosters over the weekend.

This matchup shapes up to be a cracker, rounding out an epic day of rugby league at Raiders Belconnen across four quality matchups.
