The Toyota Forklifts Canberra Raiders NSW Cup & Jersey Flegg sides begin their campaigns at 4 Pines Park this weekend, taking on the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.

Jersey Flegg Cup

The Raiders Jersey Flegg side head to Manly this weekend, looking to continue their strong head-to-head form against the Sea Eagles to start off the new season.

Canberra blitzed the Sea Eagles in both of their matchups last season, as they put together a formidable season.

Coming off a week two exit in last year’s finals, the Raiders will be hoping to go from strength-to-strength, bolstered by several players who earnt their first taste of NRL in the Witzer Pre-Season Challenge.

Key Members of the spine Saxon Innes and Braydan Darmody, along with forwards Campbell Munn and Malachi Smith will look to continue their development, having all featured in the club’s pre-season fixtures.

The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup

Canberra’s NSW Cup team head to Manly this weekend, naming a strong side bolstered by the inclusion of a few familiar faces.

The Raiders head into the season coming off a week two finals exit in 2025, where they finished fifth on the ladder.

Matt Timoko and Matty Nicholson have been named to lead the charge, having both overcome pre-season injuries to push for selection.

Owen Pattie will be hoping to build upon his strong form from last season, in which he earnt his NRL debut for the club.

Fans will have an opportunity to see off-season recruit Coby Black for the first time, as he looks to form a strong halves combination with pre-season standout, Jalen Afamasaga.
