NSW Cup & Jersey Flegg: Round 13 Preview

The Canberra Raiders’ NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg squads are back at GIO Stadium for a triple header against the St George Illawarra Dragons on Sunday afternoon.

Jersey Flegg Cup

The Raiders Jersey Flegg Cup team will kick off proceedings at GIO Stadium at 11:45am on Sunday.

The home side currently remains in ninth following their 30-24 deficit against the Sea Eagles last Saturday

For the away side, they remain top of the ladder following their 30-22 victory against the Warriors in round 12.

For the Green Machine, a few changes have been made with a younger but eager squad named to play.

Meanwhile, the Dragons have named an unchanged side as they look to continue their momentum.

The Raiders will be searching for a win at GIO after losing their last five games; however, the Dragons have won their last five matchups, and it will be a courageous battle between the two sides.

The last time these two teams met, the Dragons walked away victorious 26-10 in Round 23, 2025.

The Knock On Effect NSW Cup

The Raiders NSW Cup side will return to GIO Stadium to round out Sunday's triple header to 

The Raiders still remain in 12th following their 35-16 win against the Manly Sea Eagles last Saturday.

Meanwhile, for the Dragons, they have slipped into seventh following their close 24-20 deficit against the Warriors in Round 12.

The Raiders have made a few changes to the squad, with Jayze Tuigamala and Luke Cannon being promoted to the bench following their stints in Jersey Flegg.

Chevy Stewart and Jordan Uta have not been included in the team list as they have been named on the bench for first grade.

Young gun Coby Black will be one to watch after being in great form last week, scoring a second-half double, converting five out of six tries and a field goal late in the second half.

For the away side, they have put forward an unchanged squad except Matthew Feagai, who has been promoted to first grade.

The Green Machine will be going into this match winning their last four out of five games, while the Dragons have won only one of their last five.

Last time these sides met, the Raiders walked away victorious 32-14 in Round 23, 2025.
