The Toyota Forklifts Canberra Raiders NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg squads are travelling down south to Melbourne on Sunday to face off against the Storm.

Jersey Flegg Cup

The Jersey Flegg squad will commence their match mid-morning on Sunday at Gosch’s Paddock, adjacent to AAMI Park.

For the Storm, they are currently sitting tenth and are fresh off a bye in Round 15.

For the Green Machine, they are currently sitting in ninth after a much-needed 38-20 victory against the Parramatta Eels in Round 15.

Both clubs have named unchanged sides from their previous squads to keep consistency within their teams.

Last time they met, the Raiders walked away with the victory 42-30 at Seffiert Oval in round seven.

With the top eight in sight for the Raiders, this match will be guaranteed ‘edge-of-your-seat’ type football.

NSW Cup

The Canberra Raiders NSW Cup squad will kick off the action against the Storm before the NRL clash on Sunday at AAMI Park.

The Raiders are now sitting in the top eight following their 38-20 win against Parramatta and will be looking to keep climbing the ladder.

Meanwhile, for Melbourne, they are currently sitting 13th and are looking to gain winning momentum following their round 15 bye and slower start to the season.

For the Green Machine, Cheav Kolone and Roman Tuaimau are named to back up following their under-19s Origin duties, and Chevy Stewart has been recalled into the fullback position.

For the Storm, it is an unchanged squad except for Hayden Watson, who has been promoted from the Jersey Flegg squad into the halfback position.

The last time these sides met was also in round seven at Seffiert Oval, and the Raiders came out victors 48-12.
