Round 10 of the Katrina Fanning Shield is just around the corner, with three block buster showdowns set to take place across Saturday the 27th June.
West Belconnen Warriors V Yass Magpies, Raiders Belconnen, Saturday 27th June, 09:30am
Kicking off the weekend, the West Belconnen Warriors welcome the Yass Magpies, as both teams look to start the second half of the season on a winning note.
Having played out a 46-10 showdown in favour of the Warriors in round one, Belconnen and Yass have experienced varying journeys in 2026.
With the Warriors remaining undefeated through seven games and sitting atop the competition ladder, the Magpies are yet to get off the mark.
Coming off the bye in Round Nine, the Warriors will be hoping to pick up where they left and maintain their perfect record.
While the ladder tells one story, recent results show the Magpies aren’t far off snagging their first win on the season, a building confidence the Warriors must be wary of.
Belconnen United Sharks V Queanbeyan Blues, NSWRL HQ Bruce, Saturday 27th June, 12:00pm
Belconnen United Sharks and the Queanbeyan Blues come head-to-head this weekend, with the Blues looking to continue a recent run of form.
Opening their campaigns against each other in Round One, Belconnen enjoyed a dominant 50-0 victory, not that a similar outcome should be expected this time around.
After struggling to get off the mark in 2026, the Blues have earnt back-to-back victories in their previous two outings, a change in fortune that is sure to have Belconnen on high alert.
Courtney Mapleson will be one to look out for, with the Blues centre scoring a hat-trick in each of their previous victories.
Mapleson and the Blues will be tasked with containing a few prolific try scores themselves, as Eliza Taylor and Reese Paunovic will be looking to guide the Sharks to victory.
Gungahlin Bulls V Woden Valley Rams, Gungahlin Enclosed Oval, Saturday 27th June, 12:00pm
The Bulls and Rams meet for the second time in three weeks on Saturday afternoon, with the Bulls desperate to get one back on the Woden based outfit, a victory that would see them jump ahead on the ladder.
Bouncing back from their narrow defeat in Round Eight, the Bulls will be hoping to string together consecutive victories for the first time this season, an opportunity that will be bolstered by the home ground advantage.
For the Rams, a victory would see them separate themselves from the chasing pack and potentially within striking distance of the second placed Sharks.
If Woden are to get the better of the Bulls a second time around, it would come as no surprise to see Lara Cosgrove’s name on the scoreboard, with seven tries across the season and a double in their last meeting.
