Jersey Flegg Cup: Round 17 Wrap

The Toyota Forklifts Canberra Raiders Jersey Flegg Cup side scored a comprehensive 30-22 win over the Warriors to claim their third straight victory.

Raiders halfback Callum Dowell found Hardy Glover with a well-waited grubber kick to open the scoring for the afternoon.

Canberra continued their dominant start, scoring through Mahonri Tiotalam, James Croker and Luke Cannon to lead the Warriors 18-4 at halftime.

The visitors looked to mount a comeback, scoring two early tries in the second half.

But it wasn't enough as Raiders captain Braydan Darmody crossed for what would be the match sealer and claim their third straight win.

The Raiders JF Cup side will have a couple of weeks off as they have their round bye and a full-competition bye in back to back weeks.
