Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA), represented by its Toyota Forklifts brand, has today announced a landmark extension of its Principal Partnership with the Canberra Raiders, securing a renewed agreement through to the end of the 2030 season.

The extension reinforces one of the National Rugby League’s most enduring and recognisable commercial partnerships, underlining a shared commitment to performance, reliability, and strong community values.

Toyota Forklifts will continue to feature prominently on the Raiders’ playing kit and across the club’s stadium and digital assets, maintaining its position as a key partner in the club’s long-term vision for success both on and off the field.

Beyond branding and match-day exposure, the partnership will continue to focus on grassroots rugby league development, local community programs, and initiatives that promote participation, inclusion, and wellbeing.

The Raiders and Toyota Forklifts will also explore new opportunities across digital engagement, fan experiences, and sustainability initiatives as part of the extended agreement.

The contract extension ensures the Principal Partnership spans 10 years, highlighting how both organisations have benefitted from sustained collaboration, brand alignment, and community engagement initiatives.

Don Furner, Chief Executive Officer of the Canberra Raiders, said the extension represents a major milestone for the club, “We’re incredibly proud to extend our Principal Partnership with Toyota Forklifts through to 2030. Their ongoing support demonstrates a deep belief in the Canberra Raiders, our players, our people, and our community. This continued commitment provides stability and confidence as we continue to build a high-performing organisation both on and off the field.”

Steve Takacs, President and CEO of TMHA emphasised the strategic importance of the partnership. “TMHA via its Toyota Forklifts brand is proud to extend its relationship with the Green Machine as principal partner to 2030. We’re excited to extend our partnership with this highly respected and history rich Club and look forward to lifting the Raiders in the coming seasons both on and off the field".

“This is more than a sponsorship—it’s a genuine partnership,” added Furner. “Together, we’re investing in the future of rugby league, delivering outcomes that benefit our fans, members, and the wider community.”
