Round 10 of the Blumers Lawyers Katrina Fanning Shield saw the Bulls cement their top four spot, the Sharks bounce back in a big way, and the Warriors and Magpies play out a draw at Raiders Belconnen.
Gungahlin Bulls 26 def. Woden Valley Rams 10
The Gungahlin Bulls secured an important victory at home against the Woden Valley Rams which cements their spot inside the top four.
Bulls centre Molly Sturgiss proved a handful for defenders crossing the try line on three separate occasions for a hat-trick, whilst Lily Croker led from the front in the forwards.
Meanwhile, the loss for the Rams is there second consecutive and sees them sitting on the edge of the top four, although they do have a game in hand on the sides above them, Lara Cosgrove continued her try scoring form crossing the line once again.
The Rams will look to bounce next weekend against the Magpies at Walker Park, whilst the Bulls travel to Greenway to take on the Tuggeranong Bushrangers.
Belconnen United Sharks 26 def. Queanbeyan Blues 12
The Belconnen United Sharks bounced back this weekend with a strong fourteen-point victory against the Queanbeyan Blues.
The damaging right edge of the Sharks continued their strong form with Paunovic and Taylor both scoring doubles in Belconnen's victory.
Whilst, for the Blues Mapleson and Salinas were once again their best with the centre and dummy half providing strike every time they touched the ball.
The Blues will search for their third victory next weekend when they face the Warriors at Seears Workwear Oval, whilst the Sharks have the weekend off with the bye.
West Belconnen Warriors 16 draw Yass Magpies 16
The Yass Magpies claimed their first point of the season on Saturday with a draw in the dying stages against the West Belconnen Warriors at Raiders Belconnen.
Trailing by four in the final minute, up stepped Chelsea Graham with a try in the corner, an unsuccessful conversion ensured the points were split providing Yass with their first point.
For West Belconnen, the draw is there first dropped points of the 2026 season, with side still having a solid gap from the rest of field, Crystal Papalii laid down the marker for try of the year in the KFS with a length of the field effort in the second half.
The Warriors look to get back to winning ways when they take on the Queanbeyan Blues next weekend, while the Magpies will look to build on this result when they welcome the Rams to Yass.
