IMPORTANT TRIAL INFORMATION

Registrations close on Friday, September 4. No registrations will be accepted after this date.

There will be no SG Ball Open Trials for the 2027 season.

Please note there is a $30 cost for each player to secure their spot in the trial, with the purpose to prevent no-shows, late withdrawals, and help ensuring fair opportunities for committed players.

Players will also get to keep the Under Armour training shirt they trial in on the day. If you are unable to make it to the trials after registering, a refund will not be processed.

Before registering, players and families need to consider:

  • How will they travel 3-4 times a week to Canberra for training and matches from November to April if selected into the squad.
  • No relocation assistance will be provided by the Canberra Raiders.

Players will be contacted via email to confirm the day and time of the trial match(es) they will participate in closer to the trial dates. Allocations will be based on the players' residential address where possible.

Players will be provided their own numbered Raiders trial shirt which they must wear in ALL matches they participate in, including the call back matches on Saturday 26th September.

Registered players are required to:

  • Bring their own boots, shorts and socks.
  • Bring recent injuries/medical concerns to the attention of trainers/medical staff. The Canberra Raiders reserve the right to withdraw any player deemed not fit to play based on injury. Limited strapping can be provided on the day, but players must bring their own sports tape/padding.
  • Be available to play within the allocated time slot on their assigned day.

Any enquiries, please email trials@raiders.com.au
