NSW Cup & Jersey Flegg: Round 22 Wrap

The NSW Cup squad will take on the Penrith Panthers in Penrith on Saturday afternoon.

The Green Machine are currently sitting eighth after their 32-4 victory against the Magpies at GIO Stadium.

Meanwhile, Penrith are top of the table despite their 10-6 deficit against the Parramatta Eels in Round 21.

Coby Black, Joe Roddy and Seb Kris are the only exclusions from the Raiders after being named on the extended bench in first grade.

For Penrith, they will welcome back Blaize Talagi into their side following a stint in first grade.

The last time these two teams faced off was in round 10, when the Panthers defeated the Raiders 38-18 at GIO Stadium.

The Raiders currently sit one point outside of the top five, with a number of the sides above them playing each other this weekend.

Jersey Flegg Cup

The Canberra Raiders Jersey Flegg squad will open up the action at Parker Street Reserve against the Panthers at midday.

The Panthers are currently sitting third following their tight 22-18 victory against the Eels.

Meanwhile, for the Green Machine, they are currently ninth following their 34-26 defeat against the Tigers at Raiders Belconnen.

Penrith have named a relatively unchanged team with a couple of changes in the forward pack.

For the Raiders, the team goes back to normal following some late positional changes before their Round 21 clash.

The last time these two squads came head-to-head was also in round 10, when Penrith defeated the Raiders 39-30 at GIO Stadium.
