NSW Cup & Jesey Flegg: Round 25 Wrap

The Toyota Forklifts Canberra Raiders NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg sides wrapped up the regular season on Saturday afternoon with a win and a loss at Seiffert Oval.

Knock On Effect NSW Cup

The Raiders NSW Cup side scored a brilliant 50-20 win over Parramatta in the final game of the regular season.

The Raiders started the game on fire, when front rower Jesse Milin crossed the stripe in the second minute.

The Eels hit back with a pair of tries but Canberra held a strong 22-10 lead at the break.

It was all one-way traffic in the second 40, with eight different try scorers crossing for tries as the Raiders finished their season on a high.

Jersey Flegg Cup

The Raiders Jersey Flegg Cup side were defeated 30-20 by the Eels.

The visitors began the game strong, leading the Raiders 10-nil after ten minutes.

The Raiders rallied back with James Croker crossing for a quick double to level the scores 14-all at the break.

Braydan Darmody scored right after the break to take the lead, but Parramatta comeback to steal victory through a late Samuela Sorovi double.

Both the NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg Cup sides have the bye in round 26 to finish the 2026 season.
